Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance department in ensuring statutory compliance and efficient data management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and book-keeping.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable).
• Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations.
• Support inventory control and production cost tracking.
• Prepare basic financial reports (daily/monthly).
• Ensure statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, NSSF, SHIF).
• Assist in audit preparation and documentation.
• Use accounting systems and Excel for data management.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA Qualification.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
