The Cotton Development Trust Fund (CDTF) is seeking qualified, young, and dynamic Tanzanians to fill vacant positions under contract employment and an internship program. The available positions are:
Accountant (1 Post – Six Months Contract)
Accountant (3 Posts – Internship)
Duty Station: Mwanza
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the role include:
Performing interdepartmental audits.
Conducting periodical cash accounting for each department to ascertain correctness of cash and book balances.
Performing regular and surprise/special audits to Directorates, sections, and Units.
Carrying out examination of Authority financial accounting and supporting documents.
Evaluating the effectiveness of existing systems of internal control and recommending appropriate improvements.
Performing any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education Requirements:
Holder of a Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration majoring in Accountancy or Finance, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
Qualitative Requirements (Skills):
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management.
Ability to handle complex data and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Specific Conditions for Internship Positions:
Applicants should not have prior work experience related to their area of study.
Should have completed their studies within three years from the date of this advertisement.
Should be between 18 and 35 years old.
