We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to lead our IT sales efforts in Kenya, specifically focusing on the SACCO sector. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technology solutions and our clients’ business goals, managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to final payment collection. Responsibilities and Duties
Account Management: Managing existing customer accounts and the relationship between the customer and the company.
Business Development: Developing additional business opportunities in the assigned accounts and targeting new accounts.
Sales Cycle Management: Managing the complete sales cycle right from prospecting, relationship management, up to payment collections.
Target Achievement: Working towards sales targets and reporting on a quarterly basis.
Collaboration: Partnering with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
Problem Solving: Helping customers solve difficult business challenges by aligning our value proposition with their business objectives.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of Account Management experience is mandatory. You must have at least 2 years of work experience in IT Products & Services Sales.
Education: A BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field is required.
Track Record: A proven track record in both sales and account management is essential.
Regional Knowledge: Working experience within East Africa will be considered a significant advantage.
