Job Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough research on assigned topics and meticulously fact-check any data collected.
- Create varied content, including news stories, articles, blogs, newsletters, or print materials, utilizing research data.
- Adhere strictly to style guides or project briefs when developing content for assignments.
- Convert complex information acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored specifically to the target audience.
- Revise and refine articles based on editorial feedback efficiently.
- Ensure rapid turnaround of stories and articles, meeting short deadlines.
- Adhere to all stipulated editorial guidelines.
- Tailor writing style effectively to meet the needs and expectations of the target audience.
- Proofread all assignments thoroughly to correct errors before submission.
- Submit completed assignments in the requisite document format.
- Review existing articles and publications.
- Caption images accurately to provide a comprehensive narrative.
- Coordinate necessary activities with external editors, translators, printers, or agencies where needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, writing, or an equivalent field.
- 3 years of experience in a similar writing or content development role within a large organization.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Skilled in Sub-editing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing hard and soft news, storytelling, and communication across a diverse array of channels (digital, offline media, and beyond).
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency, coupled with the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
