About the Role
The Social House is seeking an enthusiastic and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join their team in Nairobi. The Social House aims to be a melting pot for getting people together, offering a personable, informal, and slightly off-beat experience for guests. The candidate will welcome guests, deliver attentive service, and maintain high standards of hospitality and hygiene.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests and deliver attentive service.
Take and serve orders accurately and promptly.
Recommend menu items with confidence.
Maintain clean, well-presented dining areas.
Coordinate effectively with Kitchen and Bar teams.
Handle guest requests and concerns professionally.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a reputable restaurant or 4/5-star hotel.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Positive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
A strong fit with brand values.
