As a Sales Manager at Pioneer Assurance, you will be responsible for driving life insurance and investment product sales, building and managing a high-performing team of financial advisors, and growing our High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) client portfolio. This is a senior field leadership role designed for professionals ready to take their career and earnings to the next level within a prestigious Upper Hill Premier Branch platform.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of Financial Advisors to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Client Acquisition: Personally prospect and close High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) clients for life insurance and investment products.
Product Promotion: Drive the uptake of Pioneer's flagship products, including the Mavuno Investment Plan, Pioneer Scholar Education Policy, and Suluhu Mkononi.
Strategic Execution: Develop and execute monthly and quarterly business acquisition strategies.
Portfolio Management: Manage and grow an existing client portfolio, ensuring high retention and effective cross-selling.
Reporting: Provide regular performance reporting to Branch Management.
Networking: Represent Pioneer Insurance professionally at corporate, community, and networking events.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Unit Manager or Sales Manager in a licensed insurance company in Kenya.
Proven track record of personal sales performance and team leadership.
Strong understanding of life insurance and investment products.
Currently holds or is actively working toward COP (Certificate of Proficiency) certification from IRA Kenya.
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-driven with the ability to work independently and meet strict targets.
Preferred Attributes
An existing team of Financial Advisors ready to onboard.
An existing client portfolio.
Demonstrated experience in HNWI business development or management.
Knowledge of investment management, wealth planning, or financial advisory.
Experience working in the Upperhill, Westlands, Karen, or Muthaiga market corridors.
Active COP certification already in place.
