The Makini Schools, a leader in the Kenyan education system with five campuses in Nairobi and Kisumu offering nursery, primary, and high school education, is recruiting for the position of Transport Coordinator (2 Posts).
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the school's transport fleet, with a strong focus on the secure transportation of children and meticulous vehicle maintenance.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
Education & Professional Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
- Valid Driver’s license with minimum class ABCE.
- NTSA PSV license.
Experience & Specialized Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the transportation industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Laws, safety precautions, and rules governing the transportation of children and the maintenance of vehicles.
Skills
- Effective communication techniques, utilizing tact and professionalism.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Complex problem-solving skills.
