The Role
As a Trainee – Data Analytics Developer, you will gain intensive hands-on experience across the entire data lifecycle, including data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. You will primarily support the development of robust analytics solutions essential for data-driven decision-making across the organization, working closely with experienced team members on real projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources.
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data analytics and reporting systems.
- Utilize analytics and BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI) to perform analysis and generate insights.
- Participate in the creation of reports and dashboards that present clear, actionable information for business decision-making.
- Document data sources, assumptions, and methods used in analyses to ensure clarity and repeatability.
- Engage in continuous learning to improve proficiency in data tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions, sharing findings in a clear and structured manner.
Required Skills & Experience
Education and Qualifications:
- Certificate in Data Science–related courses or equivalent training (online programs, bootcamps, or self-taught paths in Data Analytics).
- Basic to intermediate skills in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
- Exposure to BI or visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI is an added advantage.
