The Trade Development Representative is tasked with the crucial overall responsibility of recruiting, engaging, activating, and generating revenue from commission-only agents. This role is essential for leveraging business growth by activating and continuously improving the productivity of these commission-only agents.
Role Responsibilities
- Market Penetration: Identify and map key property agencies, real estate companies, and landlords in the assigned territories.
- Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, targeting the community areas that we serve.
- B2B Engagement: Conduct professional presentations and meetings with landlords or property agents to secure permissions for Poa to provide internet service.
- Partnership Development: Negotiate agreements that enable Poa to serve all or the majority of tenants within buildings or estates.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an active pipeline of potential properties through consistent engagement, follow-ups, and relationship nurturing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with installation, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth rollout and tenant activation once agreements are secured.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about property trends, competitor strategies, and internet service adoption patterns within the real estate sector.
- Reports: Track performance, report progress on partnerships, and provide actionable feedback for process improvement.
Academic & Minimum Qualifications Required
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, real estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B or enterprise sales within service sectors such as telecommunications, internet service providers (ISP), insurance, or real estate.
- Minimum of 2 years in managing sales and commission-only agent recruitment.
