Trade Development Representative - Eldoret

The Trade Development Representative role is crucial for driving market penetration and generating revenue within the assigned territories in Eldoret. This involves managing and optimizing the performance of commission-only agents, as well as securing critical B2B partnerships with key players in the real estate sector.

• Recruit, engage, activate, and generate revenue from commission only agents.
• Leverage business by activating and improving commission only agent productivity.

Role Responsibilities

1. Market Penetration: Identify and map key property agencies, real estate companies, and landlords in the assigned territories.
2. Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of Agents, targeting community areas that we serve.
3. B2B Engagement: Conduct professional presentations and meetings with landlords or property agents to secure permissions for Poa to provide internet.
4. Partnership Development: Negotiate agreements that enable Poa to serve all or majority of tenants within buildings or estates.
5. Pipeline Management: Build and maintain an active pipeline of potential properties through consistent engagement, follow-ups, and relationship nurturing.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with installation, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth rollout and tenant activation once agreements are secured.
7. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about property trends, competitor strategies, and internet service adoption patterns within real estate.
8. Reports: Track performance, report progress on partnerships, and provide actionable feedback for process improvement.

Academic & Minimum Qualifications required

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration, real estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B or enterprise sales within service sectors such as telecommunications, internet service providers (ISP), insurance, or real estate.
• Minimum of 2 years in managing sales and commission only agent recruitment.
