Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is offering a scholarship package covering tuition fees for the duration of study starting in August 2026. Successful candidates will be engaged as Technicians/Technologists in the Advanced Machining Laboratory while pursuing funded study programmes.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide technical support and assist in the daily operations of the Advanced Machining Laboratory.
Assist students and faculty in laboratory practical sessions and research activities.
Maintain and service lab equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
Pursue assigned academic studies and complete coursework within the prescribed study period.
Perform other laboratory technical tasks assigned by the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must hold a minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Technology from a recognized and accredited Training Institution.
Open to Kenyan citizens under the age of 40 years.
Must be registered or registrable with relevant professional and/or regulatory bodies where applicable.
Successful candidates will be bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of MMUST.
