Technical & Non-Technical - Diploma Attachment

This position is for an Industrial Attachment opportunity at Kenya Power, aimed at providing practical experience to continuing students in both Technical and Non-Technical fields. This attachment is open to students pursuing a Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate in relevant disciplines.

Kenya Power owns and operates most of the electricity transmission and distribution system in the country. The Company’s key mandate is to plan for sufficient electricity generation and transmission capacity to meet demand; and building and maintaining the power distribution and transmission infrastructure.

Program Duration

The attachment requires full-time availability for a fixed duration of three (3) months.

Requirements and Qualifications

Interested candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• Be available full-time for the entire duration of the program (3 months).
• Be a continuing student, actively pursuing a Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate (in relevant fields only), in an accredited learning institution.
• Possess a valid introduction letter from the respective learning institution.
• Must have a valid personal accident insurance cover for the entire period of attachment.

Note on Craft Certificates: Applicants pursuing Craft Certificates should specialize in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option) or Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
