Job Description
Geek Design, through its subsidiary Onyesha Edits, is opening a new office in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on architecture and real estate sectors for the international market. Onyesha Edits offers services such as design and promotional material editing for real estate and has successfully operated for over 8 years in the European market.
This opening is for the position of Technical Draftsperson for the real estate market, with 3 or more positions available.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position without extensive responsibility. The company has a management team that handles all communication with clients, assigns tasks, and double-checks all completed work. The successful candidate must demonstrate a readiness to learn and adapt to individual client requirements.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Receiving and analyzing hand-drawn sketches of buildings located abroad.
Drafting these sketches for advertisement purposes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Proficiency in English.
Background in Architecture (BA/BSc/HND, Diploma, or MBA/MSc/MA accepted).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Familiarity with CAD software is a strong plus.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience and a willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team.
