The Team Lead for the Plastic Factory is responsible for the technical and operational management of the manufacturing facility. This senior role involves commissioning specialized machinery, establishing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring optimal production efficiency. The successful candidate will manage a local team, oversee production budgets, and monitor raw material consumption to achieve high-quality yields in PET preform and closure manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Machinery Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of Plastic Moulding Machineries.
Operational Procedures: Prepare SOPs for all machines to ensure good manufacturing processes and smooth operations in accordance with standards.
Technical Operations: Manage processing parameter settings and troubleshoot machinery issues in the plant.
Reporting: Submit daily production reports and Material Yield Reports to management.
Team Leadership: Responsible for Plastic Plant manpower control, providing training to local staff, and identifying external training needs.
Inventory Management: Monitor the consumption of Raw Materials (RM) by coordinating with stores to ensure optimal yield.
Financial Oversight: Manage Plastic Plant production budgets and associated costings.
Qualifications
B.Sc. Eng. / B.E Eng. in Plastics, Polymer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
Alternatively, a B.Sc with a Diploma of CIPET (India) for Plastics Processing Technology.
Experience
10 to 15 years of experience specifically in PET Preform and Closure making.
Hands-on experience with high-speed European machines such as KRAUSS MAFFEI, NETSTAL, HUSKY, SACMI, or SIPA machines.
10 to 15 years of comprehensive experience in Plastic Plant Operation and Maintenance.
