This role, Swimming Instructor III at Bandari Maritime Academy, is responsible for providing professional swimming instruction to students, ensuring water safety, managing regular pool maintenance, and maintaining the cleanliness of the entire pool facility.
Job Specification (Responsibilities)
Duties for this role include:
Train students on swimming lessons.
Treat the pool with appropriate chemicals on a regular maintenance schedule.
Perform first aid procedures when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool facility, including cleaning the pool, benches, pool deck, and proper disposal of trash.
Perform any other activities related to the facilities as assigned.
Person Specifications (Qualifications)
For appointment to this grade, a staff must have:
A Diploma in the relevant field.
Four (4) years’ experience in instructing (relevant field).
Proficiency in Computer Applications.
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution (Leadership and Integrity).
