New Agrodeal Kenya Limited, a leading grower and exporter of top-notch quality and organic herbs, vegetables, and flowers in Naivasha, Kenya, is seeking a qualified Storekeeper to join their team in Nairobi. The company, founded in 2015, is committed to growing the best quality herbs to meet the specific needs of their customers. This full-time role involves managing all store operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, and maintaining the integrity and security of all stored items.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming goods, verifying quantity and quality.
- Issue items strictly based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory reports.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the store.
- Report damaged, expired, or low-stock items to management for action.
- Ensure safe storage of chemicals, fertilizers, tools, and PPE according to company standards.
- Work closely with procurement to monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment.
Qualifications & Skills
This role requires 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in an agricultural or manufacturing setup.
Education:
- Certificate/Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND holders are also qualified).
Core Skills:
- Strong record-keeping, organizational, and numerical skills.
- Computer literacy (Excel, inventory systems).
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
