Job Description
Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, is looking for a Store Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales performance, managing team resources efficiently, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance: Maximize sales performance and manage customer transactions efficiently.
Leadership: Manage team resources to match customer flow and ensure service availability.
Team Development: Train, develop, and upskill teams to meet current and future business needs.
Health & Safety: Ensure a safe working and shopping environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
Customer Engagement: Engage customers, understand their preferences, and support retention strategies to provide excellent service.
Operations Management: Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, shrinkage control, waste reduction, and promotion execution.
Data Analysis: Analyze store performance data and key business metrics to make commercially driven decisions.
Omnichannel Retail: Manage omnichannel operations, including order fulfillment and ensuring alignment between online and offline customer experiences.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Master’s Degree preferred).
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5+ years in a retail business environment.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Leadership: Proven capability to guide, manage, and develop teams.
Problem Solving: Analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capability.
Organization: Highly organized with strong multitasking and time-management skills.
