This role is for a Slaughterman within the Kitui Municipality, working for the County Government of Kitui.
Kitui County is located 170Km to the South East of Nairobi City, covering an area of about 30,496 km2. It borders Machakos and Makueni Counties to the West, Tana River County to the East, Taita-Taveta County to the South, and Embu and Tharaka-Nithi Counties to the North.
Duties and Responsibilities
The primary duty of the Slaughterman is to:
Slaughter animals as required.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Be a Kenyan Citizen.
At least 18 years of age and above.
Be in possession of a National Identification Card.
Minimum of Primary School Certificate.
Be a person of sound mind.
Be physically and medically fit.
Possess basic skills to slaughter an animal.
May be Muslim or Non-Muslim.
A team player.
