As a Service Technician Trainee for Industrial Boilers, you will be responsible for performing after-sales service for the Industrial Boilers business across East African countries while being based in Kenya. The role involves regular engagement with industrial customers to strengthen relationships, enhance satisfaction, and build confidence in Bosch's service capabilities. You will ensure consistent customer support, identify service opportunities, and contribute to long-term business growth through reliable and proactive after-sales engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control: Direct responsibility for Boiler operation quality in your area of intervention.
Contract Management: Handle and maintain existing service and maintenance contracts.
Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to customer requests for troubleshooting and technical support.
Commissioning: Supervise and lead the commissioning of new industrial boilers.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports from each customer visit, including recommendations for spare parts and retrofits.
Technical Liaison: Maintain close contact with Boiler experts in Germany for technical support.
Sales Support: Promote and sell service offerings including maintenance solutions, service contracts, and spare parts.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated professional experience in boiler maintenance and troubleshooting is required.
