Tatu City is a project of Rendeavour, Africa’s largest urban land developer. The company is involved in visionary projects across Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, aiming to create infrastructure—living and working spaces, communities, schools, and hospitals—that sustain economic growth and meet the aspirations of Africa’s burgeoning middle class.
The Senior Real Estate Advisor role focuses on driving sales for the Jabali Towers & Porini Point off-plan residential developments within Tatu City. The Advisor is responsible for identifying new sales leads, scheduling site visits, and participating in promotional activities (fairs, presentations, exhibitions) to maximize sales revenue. This position also supports the Sales Director in executing sales objectives, strategies, and action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with buyers and providing them with details of all Jabali Towers & Porini Point residential developments (including price, size, and location).
- Prospecting, originating, and closing sales.
- Building a good knowledge of the property market, both locally and internationally, and providing clients with required information to influence purchase decisions.
- Assisting the Sales Director in planning and coordinating open days or other initiatives to develop new leads and increase sales.
- Developing well-established links with agencies and brokerage firms to assist in the sales process and drive.
- Performing administrative duties and attending seminars/trade show exhibitions to receive market-relevant information and generate sales.
- Assisting the Sales Director in hosting client presentations where required to increase the Tatu City, Jabali Towers & Porini Point residential developments client database.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients as well as understanding their property needs.
- Collating market data and intelligence on all Rendeavour’s key markets in Kenya and providing quarterly reports on trends.
- Making use of CRM (Salesforce) to record ALL sales activities.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Director.
Requirements
- Must have 3+ years of experience selling off-plan projects.
- Wide and productive network and leads in the Kenyan business circles.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in sales, marketing, or business studies from a recognized institution would be an added advantage.
