This role seeks exceptional international scholars, researchers, and industry-experienced academics to join Zetech University's International Faculty, specifically focusing on Information Communication Technology (ICT). The primary objective is to expand the University's academic horizons and build a vibrant, multicultural, world-class faculty committed to elevating teaching, research, and global collaboration. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Kenya for a period of at least two (2) years.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer academic and administrative leadership.
- Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Contribute to curriculum internationalisation.
- Mentor junior academic and research staff.
- Supervise research and mentor diverse student cohorts.
- Engage in impactful research, publications, and grant applications.
- Support global partnerships and cross-cultural initiatives.
- Bring fresh, global perspectives to the classroom and the University at large.
- Community service and outreach.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of a relevant PhD, Masters, and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Software Engineering/ Data Science/Computer Informatics/ Artificial Intelligence or a relevant field from an accredited and recognised University.
- Must be currently serving at the level of a Senior Lecturer in an accredited University.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience at the university level.
- Must have evidence of publications, attendance and contribution at academic conferences and having attracted research funds.
- Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion.
- Demonstrable leadership and administrative experience, and abilities.
