
Kenya Trade Network Agency
Kenya Trade Network Agency (KENTRADE) is a state Agency under the National Treasury mandated to facilitate cross-border trade and to establish, manage, and implement the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System (KNESWS). The overall objective of the project is to facilitate international trade by reducing delays and lowering costs associated with the clearance of goods at Kenyan borders while maintaining the requisite controls and collection of levies, fees, duties, and taxes.
To provide independent assurance, consulting, and advisory functions to the Board and management of KenTrade. This role is meant to add value through the systematic evaluation of the organization's processes and operations, assuring the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance, internal control, risk management, and governance processes.
