Tire World Ltd is searching for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance functions while mentoring junior staff. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of timely financial statements and variance analysis, blending sharp analytical skills with technical precision to support data-driven recommendations for management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance functions.
Oversee the end-to-end preparation of timely financial statements and perform detailed variance analysis.
Investigate complex financial discrepancies and ensure resolution.
Manage tax and statutory compliance to ensure seamless alignment with regulations.
Manage cash flow forecasting and coordinate robust audit processes within an ERP environment.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Provide data-driven recommendations to management to support decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications
Educational qualification: BA / BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Leadership experience.
Advanced knowledge and experience working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.
Strong analytical skills, technical accounting precision, and detail orientation.
Proven track record in tax and statutory compliance, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
