As a Senior Account Manager at Glovo, you will be responsible for building and developing strategic partnerships with the most significant accounts in Kenya. This unique role requires a blend of business data analytics skills and a strong sense of relationship management to drive long-term growth and profitability strategies for both partners and Glovo.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Advisory: Understand the objectives and hurdles of Partners to offer insightful advice and assistance.
Data Analysis: Utilize data to enhance growth and profitability for both Partners and Glovo.
Country Strategy: Define and pursue the long-term strategy for the country regarding Growth, Promotions, Advertisement, and Operations.
Revenue Generation: Improve Glovo’s revenue through commission renegotiation and asset sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside internal departments including Operations, Marketing, Corporate, and Customer Service to apply tailored solutions for Partners.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in Account Management and core business development. Experience in startups, top consulting firms, or top tech companies is a distinct advantage.
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Mandatory proficiency in Excel; knowledge of other data analysis tools is beneficial.
Salesmanship: Persuasive communication style with the ability to sell value to Customers, Partners, and the Glovo platform.
Problem Solving: Ability to find elegant solutions to complex challenges using critical thinking.
Attention to Detail: Capacity to manage both high-level strategy and granular details.
