Job Specifications: Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:
- Participating in the development and implementation of security strategies, policies and procedures;
- Liaising with security agencies to ensure security of assets and operations;
- Participating in the coordination of emergency procedures and contingency planning;
- Identifying potential security threats;
- Coordinating investigation of internal security breaches;
- Maintaining records of crimes and incidents;
- Overseeing security surveys and inspections.
- Liaising with County Administration and Kenya Police Service on security matters.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Criminology or equivalent from a recognized university;
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of C+ (Plus) or equivalent;
- Prior service in the Police Force or Military.
