Science Teacher

This role is for a dedicated Science Teacher at New Song Education Centre & Junior School. The school, located in Kariobangi South, Nairobi, serves primary and junior secondary students, focusing on academic excellence and holistic development through various co-curricular activities like cookery, ballet, and scouting.

The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering quality instruction in Science, ensuring students achieve academic and moral excellence, and adhering to the school's Christian values and the national curriculum standards.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Religious Foundation: Must be a Christian with a strong foundation in Christian values and conduct.
• Education/Qualification: Must be a P1 Teacher / DPTE Graduate (equivalent to a BA/BSc/HND qualification).
• Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
• Subject Mastery: Must possess strong mastery of the Science subject area.
• Pedagogy & Child Interaction: Must be excellent at working with children and nurturing academic and moral excellence.
• Professional Conduct: Requires professionalism, integrity, and a strong teamwork spirit.
• Statutory Registration: Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Curriculum Competence: Must be competent in implementing the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBE).
