The Salesperson role is an on-site, full-time position based in Kisii. The primary objective is to drive sales of MOMENTUM Kenya's financial products and ensure exceptional customer service for the company, which specializes in providing structured working capital solutions to Individuals and Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed established sales targets by actively promoting and selling MOMENTUM Kenya's financial products to potential and existing customers.
- Acquire and effectively manage client portfolios.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
- Attend local networking events to generate new leads and business opportunities.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports.
- Liaise closely with the internal team to ensure complete customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
- Maintain updated and comprehensive knowledge of all MOMENTUM Kenya’s products and services.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in a high-target sales environment:
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Proven experience in a sales or client-facing role is highly preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the local Kisii market and prior experience in financial services will be considered an advantage.
- Core Skills:
- Sales, Product Demonstration, and Relationship Building skills.
- Strong Customer Service, Communication, and Negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Financial Products and Marketing principles.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently achieve set targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant digital tools.
