This Sales Representative role focuses on managing client relationships and driving product sales within an assigned territory, specifically targeting hardware shops.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Identify new sales opportunities in hardware shops and maintain a strong customer base within the assigned territory.
- Sales Execution: Present and list products in the hardware shops.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Market Intelligence: Share market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Planning: Develop and execute a sales plan against the Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics and accounts to ensure smooth order processing, product launches, and successful promotional campaigns.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 years of successful sales experience in trade with proven work experience; handling hardware shops and dealers will be of added advantage.
- Education: A basic degree or Diploma in sales & marketing or a business-related field like business or marketing is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM software are generally required.
- Performance: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is a key requirement demonstrated.
