Sales Representative

As the oldest and largest dairy processor in East and Central Africa, New KCC's core business is the procurement of high quality raw milk which is then processed, packaged and marketed as milk and milk products. From farm to glass, New KCC is proud of its range of quality dairy products, which include fresh milk, butter, cheese, flavoured products, and more.

To ensure products are available in the market at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Representative will be responsible for:

• Supervising the direct selling and marketing of the products.
• Prospecting for new clients and markets.
• Setting targets and monitoring performance of the different sales routes.
• Overseeing the collection of debt.
• Generating periodic reports (sales reports, market intelligence reports, debt collections reports).
• Resolving market disputes (customer care services).
• Ensuring proper use of resources allocated for the area, e.g., crates.
• Ensuring pricing of products is done uniformly in the outlets.
• Executing sales promotions and overseeing merchandising activities.
• Managing and controlling credit among clients.
• Route mapping and route optimization.
• Overseeing the collection of both cash & credit.
• Enforcing sales automation.
• Managing track utilization cost per litre and distribution.

Qualifications and Personal Specifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Membership of a Professional Body.

Experience:

• A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work experience and at least three (3) years in a supervisory role in the Public Service or Private Sector.
