The role of the Sales Manager in Mombasa is to supervise and coordinate all aspects of a Unit sales workstream within a Jubilee Life Branch. This position is crucial for developing strategies and leading initiatives aimed at meeting and growing Unit sales productivity, headcount, training, recruitment, and fostering a positive sales culture.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Attend product and skill training organized by Jubilee Life to gain a comprehensive understanding of company products and distribution methods.
- Prospect in the market to present Jubilee products to prospective customers.
- Solicit and procure business on behalf of the Company.
- Service clients and promptly convey all relevant information received from clients to the Company.
- Uphold the image and brand of the Company at all times.
- Achieve the new business sales budget targets in terms of Number of Policies (NOPs), Annualized Premiums (ANP), Persistency, and premiums written (GWP) for both new and renewal business.
- Attend all meetings called by Jubilee sales management for training, supervision, motivation, and market deployment.
- Comply with the industry code of conduct plus all Company regulations and all the relevant laws and regulations of the country governing the activities of the trade.
Minimum Requirements
The basic requirement and qualifications should include but is not limited to:
- Minimum Age: 25 years.
- Education Level: A Degree or Diploma with Minimum Grade C- (Minus) in KCSE.
- Professional Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Insurance Certification (COP).
- Registration: Current Registration with IRA (Insurance Regulatory Authority).
- Experience: Minimum 1 Year experience in Sales Management or Minimum 2 Years as a successful Sales Agent.
- Added Advantage: Certification in Sales Management and IT Skills will be an added advantage.
