The Sales Manager – Construction Chemicals (Project Business) role is tailored for a professional possessing a deep understanding of the construction chemicals ecosystem. This strategic position requires confidently engaging crucial industry stakeholders, including consultants, architects, engineers, EPC contractors, developers, and government bodies, to successfully influence product specifications, secure product approvals, and guide procurement decisions for major projects.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in executing the following duties:
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of large-scale construction projects.
- Driving product specifications within Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documents.
- Leading technical presentations, site demonstrations, and comprehensive solution discussions.
- Managing key accounts and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Collaborating with technical and distribution teams to ensure seamless and successful project execution.
Qualifications and Experience
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in project sales specifically within construction chemicals or closely related industries.
- Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of waterproofing systems, admixtures, repair solutions, grouts, sealants, and flooring systems.
- Track Record: Proven track record of successfully winning major government and private sector construction projects.
- Core Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and robust negotiation skills.
