The Sales Manager role at Jubilee Insurance's Life Branch in Nyeri involves supervising and coordinating all aspects of a Unit sales workstream. The role holder is crucial for developing strategies and leading initiatives aimed at maximizing the Unit's sales productivity, increasing headcount, and fostering a high-performance culture through effective training and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend product and skill training organized by Jubilee Life to gain a deep understanding of company products and distribution methods.
- Actively prospect in the market and present Jubilee products to prospective customers.
- Solicit and procure business on behalf of the Company.
- Service clients efficiently and convey all necessary information received from the client back to the Company.
- Uphold the professional image and brand of the Company at all times.
- Achieve the new business sales budget, measured by Number of Policies (NOPs), Annualized Premiums (ANP), Persistency, and Gross Written Premiums (GWP) targets for both new and renewal business.
- Attend all meetings called by Jubilee sales management for training, supervision, motivation, and market deployment.
- Ensure full compliance with the industry code of conduct, all Company regulations, and all relevant national laws and regulations governing trade activities.
Minimum Requirements
The basic requirements and qualifications include:
- Age: Minimum 25 years.
- Education: A Degree or Diploma with Minimum Grade C- (Minus) in KCSE.
- Professional Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Insurance Certification (COP).
- Registration: Current Registration with IRA (Insurance Regulatory Authority).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales Management OR Minimum 2 years as a successful Sales Agent.
- Added Advantage: Certification in Sales Management and IT Skills.
