The Sales Manager role in the Jubilee Life Branch in Thika involves supervising and coordinating all aspects of a Unit sales workstream. The role holder is responsible for developing strategies and leading initiatives to meet and grow the Unit's sales productivity, manage headcount, coordinate training, oversee recruitment efforts, and foster a strong sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend product and skill training organized by Jubilee Life to gain a comprehensive understanding of company products and distribution methods.
- Actively prospect in the market and present Jubilee products to prospective customers.
- Solicit and procure new business on behalf of the Company.
- Service existing clients and accurately relay all client feedback and information to the Company.
- Uphold the professional image and brand reputation of the Company.
- Achieve the new business sales budget targets, specifically relating to Number of Policies (NOPs), Annualized Premiums (ANP), Persistency, and Gross Written Premiums (GWP) for both new and renewal business.
- Attend all meetings convened by Jubilee sales management for training, supervision, motivation, and market deployment planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with the industry code of conduct, all Company regulations, and relevant national laws governing trade activities.
Minimum Requirements:
The basic requirements and qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Age: Minimum age of 25 years.
- Education: A Degree or Diploma qualification, accompanied by a minimum grade of C- (Minus) in KCSE.
- Professional Qualification: A Diploma or Certificate in Insurance Certification (COP).
- Registration: Current Registration with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales Management or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a successful Sales Agent.
- Added Advantage: Certification in Sales Management and IT Skills are considered beneficial.
