This role, based in a Jubilee Life Branch, requires the supervision and coordination of all aspects of a Unit sales workstream. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strategies and leading initiatives aimed at meeting and growing the Unit's sales productivity, headcount, training, recruitment efforts, and overall team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Training and Product Knowledge: Attend product and skill training organized by Jubilee Life to fully understand company products and optimal distribution methods.
- Market Prospecting: Actively prospect in the market to present Jubilee products to prospective customers.
- Business Procurement: Solicit and procure new business on behalf of the Company.
- Client Service: Service the client effectively and convey all relevant information received from clients back to the Company.
- Brand Management: Uphold the professional image and brand reputation of the Company.
- Target Achievement: Achieve the new business sales budget targets in terms of Number of Policies (NOPs), Annualized Premiums (ANP), Persistency, and premiums written (GWP) for both new and renewal business.
- Meetings and Supervision: Attend all meetings called by Jubilee sales management for purposes of training, supervision, motivation, and market deployment.
- Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with the industry code of conduct, all Company regulations, and all relevant laws and regulations of the country governing the activities of the trade.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
The basic requirements and qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Age: Minimum 25 years.
- Education: A Degree or Diploma, coupled with a Minimum Grade C- (Minus) in KCSE.
- Professional Qualification: Diploma or Certificate in Insurance Certification (COP).
- Registration: Current Registration with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Sales Management OR Minimum 2 years as a successful Sales Agent.
- Added Advantage: Certification in Sales Management and demonstrated IT Skills will be an advantage.
