Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for a LOGBOOK LOANS Sales Executive based in Nairobi. The Sales Executive is responsible for expanding the company's client base, specifically targeting customers for logbook loan products, and ensuring sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Generating new business and consistently meeting ambitious sales targets.
- Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Conducting detailed market research to identify potential clients and market opportunities.
- Identifying and prospecting new potential clients.
- Presenting and explaining logbook loan products effectively to prospective customers.
- Closing sales deals and managing the sales lifecycle.
- Providing necessary post-sale support and follow-up.
- Handling regular reporting of sales activities and attending scheduled team meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- A recognized BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Skills & Experience
- Strong sales track record and excellent negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and accurately identify potential clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience in the financial services or microfinance sector is highly advantageous (a plus).
- Ability to perform effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Strong organizational and effective time-management skills.
