The Sales Executive role is crucial for driving business growth by identifying, targeting, and acquiring new B2B clients, specifically schools, corporate organizations, factories, and institutions, for uniform contracts. The successful candidate will be expected to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, deliver compelling product presentations, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction by coordinating technical and design requirements with production teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients such as schools, corporate organizations, factories, and institutions.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and proposals for uniform contracts.
2. Market Research & Industry Knowledge
- Monitor industry trends in school uniforms, staff uniforms, and corporate wear.
- Study competitor pricing, quality, and market strategies.
- Provide feedback on designs, materials, and styles based on customer needs and market demands.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
3. Product Knowledge & Technical Understanding
- Understand garment construction, fabrics, trims, and customization options for uniforms.
- Communicate technical requirements clearly to clients and production teams.
- Recommend suitable materials based on durability, comfort, and branding requirements.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Handle client enquiries, follow up on orders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with production and design teams to meet client specifications.
5. Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Develop marketing strategies to promote uniform products.
- Visit institutions and organizations for product pitching and brand visibility.
- Participate in exhibitions, school events, and corporate activations.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and market feedback.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion/Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in uniforms, textiles, garments, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of staff and school uniform markets.
- Experience in B2B institutional sales is an added advantage.
