Peach Cars KE is an e-commerce solution revolutionizing car ownership in sub-Saharan Africa. We started with an automotive marketplace, leveraging technology and robust offline operations to reduce pain points in the market for locally-used vehicles, delivering quality, convenience, and value to our customers. The Sales and Activations Associate role is centered around active field sales, customer outreach, and community engagement to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness for Peach Cars. The associate will be responsible for prospecting, pitching services, coordinating customer interactions, driving on-ground activations, and meeting strict weekly and monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Outreach (Primary Function)
- Actively prospect for buyers and sellers around Peach Branch aligned yards including Kamakis, Ruiru Bypass, Eastern Bypass, Kiambu Road, Langata, - Nairobi and its environs.
- Pitch Peach services confidently and accurately (selling, buying, trade-ins, financing).
- Build a strong pipeline of hot and warm leads and follow through until handover to Sales/CX.
- Upload all leads and track interactions thereof in the required forms.
Support & Customer Handling
- Assist customers by showing inventory and guiding them through financing/trade-in steps.
- Coordinate with the sales team during busy days or promotional events.
Activations & Community Engagement
- Drive on-ground brand activations (pop-ups, high-traffic outreach, in-mall activations).
- Distribute flyers, pitch Peach services, and create awareness in target hotspots.
- Represent Peach professionally in the community at all times.
Reporting & Targets
- Submit daily activity reports (leads generated, foot traffic observed, conversations held).
- Maintain a clean, accurate record of all customer interactions.
- Hit weekly and monthly targets for:
- Leads
- Conversions
- Outreach consistency
- Booked viewings/listings
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in field sales. Experience in telecom DSAs, microfinance, banking, FMCG, or insurance is preferred.
Required Attributes
- Confident communicators — not afraid to talk, pitch, or ask for the sale.
- Target-driven, energetic, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working outdoors, moving around, and engaging strangers.
- Strong follow-through and discipline.
- Basic digital literacy (WhatsApp, forms, simple reports).
- Living within or around Ruiru, Kamakis, Bypass, Githurai, Eastern Bypass, or nearby areas is a strong advantage.
