Role Overview
The Sales Agent in Nyahururu is primarily responsible for marketing the company's loan products, managing client relationships, driving loan disbursement, and ensuring effective collections, all while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Marketing and meeting with clients interested in taking out a loan and providing them with the necessary information to start the loan application process.
- Achieving set targets for new customer disbursement, repeat loans, and collection goals.
- Collecting the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and assessing the client's creditworthiness as per the business guidelines.
- Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.
- Collecting, categorizing, and communicating leads and decisions to both clients and management.
- Setting up payment plans for clients, explaining daily, weekly, or monthly installments, interest rates, and other associated costs.
- Maintaining records of loan applications by utilizing the core banking system.
- Managing repeat and top-up clients by organizing follow-up meetings.
- Monitoring the progress of loan repayments installments and relaying any concerns to the clients.
- Ensuring that all loan applications are in line with the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, state laws, and regulations.
- Ensure customers are well trained on the product and any other training the company offers.
- Ensure all Brisk customers are treated with dignity and that all customer feedback (compliments or complaints) is recorded.
- Ensure personal hygiene of the highest level by being neat and well presentable while conducting any business on behalf of Brisk.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Sales Agent.
- Diploma or Degree qualification in a business-related course.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet targets and build robust client relationships.
- Must be self-driven and results-oriented.
