Brisk Credit LTD is a digital lending company that provides working capital loans to individuals, small businesses, and small holder farmers in Kenya and other African countries. The company leverages advanced technology to offer fast, convenient, and secure lending services to its clients.
Role and Responsibilities
The Sales Agent is primarily responsible for marketing the company’s digital lending products, managing the loan application cycle, achieving targets, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repayment performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing and meeting with clients interested in taking out a loan, providing them with the necessary information to start the loan application process.
- Achieving set disbursement targets for new customers, repeat loans, and collection targets.
- Collecting the needed KYC documentation and assessing the clients' creditworthiness as per the business requirements.
- Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.
- Leads collection, categorizing, and communicating decisions to both clients and management.
- Setting up payment plans for clients, explaining daily, weekly, or monthly installments, interest rates, and other costs.
- Maintaining records of loan applications by using the core banking system.
- Managing repeat and top-up clients by organizing follow-up meetings.
- Monitoring the progress of loan repayment installments and relaying any concerns to the clients.
- Ensuring that loan applications are in line with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, as well as state laws and regulations.
- Ensure customers are well trained on the product and any other training that the company offers to the customer.
- Ensure all Brisk customers are treated with dignity and all customer feedback (compliments or complaints) is recorded.
- Ensure personal hygiene of the highest level by being neat and well presentable while conducting any business on behalf of Brisk.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Sales Agent.
- Diploma or Degree in a business-related course (BA/BSc/HND, Diploma).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to meet targets and build client relationships.
- Self-driven and results-oriented.
