Brisk Credit LTD is a digital lending company that provides working capital loans to individuals, small businesses, and smallholder farmers in Kenya and other African countries. The company aims to use advanced technology to offer fast, convenient, and secure lending services to its clients.
Role Overview
The Sales Agent is a key role responsible for marketing the company's lending products, acquiring clients, processing loan applications, and ensuring high repayment compliance in Kajiado.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing and meeting with clients interested in taking out a loan, providing them with the necessary information to start the loan application process.
- Achieving set disbursement targets for new customer repeat loans and meeting collection targets.
- Collecting the required Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and assessing client creditworthiness according to business policy.
- Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.
- Managing leads, categorizing them, and communicating credit decisions to both clients and management.
- Setting up clear payment plans for clients, detailing daily, weekly, or monthly installments, interest rates, and other costs.
- Maintaining accurate records of loan applications using the core banking system.
- Managing repeat and top-up clients by organizing follow-up meetings.
- Monitoring the progress of loan repayments and relaying any concerns to the clients promptly.
- Ensuring that all loan applications strictly comply with the company’s SOPs, policies, and relevant state laws and regulations.
- Ensuring customers are well trained on the product and any other training the company offers.
- Ensuring all Brisk customers are treated with dignity and that all customer feedback (compliments or complaints) is recorded.
- Ensuring personal hygiene of the highest level by being neat and well presentable while conducting any business on behalf of Brisk.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience working as a Sales Agent.
- Diploma or Degree qualification in a business-related course.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to meet sales targets and build long-term client relationships.
- Must be self-driven and results-oriented.
