Our client in the financial services sector is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced SACCO Officer to oversee daily SACCO operations, manage member services, and support loan processing functions. The role is vital for ensuring member satisfaction, financial growth through deposit mobilization, and strict adherence to internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Management: Handle member registration and manage account-related inquiries and records.
- Loan Processing: Oversee the end-to-end loan lifecycle, including appraisal, processing, and follow-up on disbursements.
- Growth and Recovery: Drive deposit mobilization efforts and track loan recovery to maintain financial health.
- Member Services: Address member inquiries professionally and provide guidance on products.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed financial and operational reports for management review.
- System Operations: Manage transactions through the SACCO management system and mobile application.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with established SACCO policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience specifically in a SACCO or Microfinance institution.
- Technical Skills: Mandatory experience using SACCO management systems and mobile applications (APP).
- Soft Skills: High level of integrity, confidentiality, and strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
