Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Unit Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for the hands-on supervision of food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional background in restaurant operations, allowing them to lead and guide a team of food and beverage staff to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and guide a team of food and beverage staff to maintain service excellence.
Provide a credible and mature role model through distinct leadership qualities.
Utilize exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and beverages to train and develop a knowledgeable team skilled in all aspects of service.
Connect and converse with guests from all over the world to provide the best in hospitality.
Supervise the day-to-day operations and team performance.
Engage in staff training and development as part of the daily role.
Requirements
Education: Diploma in hotel management or other relevant tertiary qualification (BA/BSc/HND).
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an F&B Supervisor or Head Waiter, preferably within a quality hotel or restaurant environment.
Skills and Competencies:
Good communication skills (written and oral).
A passion for customer service.
Ability to motivate and lead a team with minimum supervision.
Good presentation skills.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and shifts.
POS experience, specifically with MICROS.
