This role involves reporting directly to the Unit Manager and entails the hands-on supervision of all food and beverage operations. The core objective is to lead and guide the team of food and beverage staff to consistently deliver high standards of service.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on supervision of daily food and beverage operations.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the F&B service team.
- Ensure the delivery of a consistently high standard of food and beverage service.
- Act as a credible and mature role model for the team.
- Train and develop staff, leveraging exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and beverages to ensure the team is skilled in all aspects of service.
- Engage passionately and adaptably with guests, connecting and conversing with visitors from all over the world to provide the very best in hospitality.
- Oversee the day-to-day supervision of teams and manage ongoing training and development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Successful candidates will likely already be experienced F&B Team Leaders, Supervisors, or Head Waiters with a proven track record in a quality hotel or restaurant environment.
- Diploma in hotel management or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an F&B Supervisor or Head Waiter.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Good communication skills (written and oral).

- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- Good professional presentation.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours/shifts.
- Proficiency with POS systems, specifically MICROS.
