Resident Orthopaedic Surgeon (COSECSA Program)

This is an opportunity to join St. Luke’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital as a Resident Orthopaedic Surgeon (1 position) under the prestigious COSECSA program. St. Luke’s Orthopaedic and Trauma Hospital is an ultra-modern hospital established in 2012, specializing in orthopaedics and trauma care.

Training Duration

The training program runs for two years, starting on 1st January 2026 and concluding on 31st December 2027.

Remuneration

A monthly stipend will be payable to the successful candidate throughout the training duration.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this residency position:

• Must have a valid practice license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
• Should have a strong interest in the field of Orthopaedics.
• Must have demonstrated a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards work in previous employment setups or during rotations.
• Successful completion of the MCS program in the past 1 year.
• Commitment to a rigorous training program with high demands.

Added Advantage:

• Rotation in a surgical unit for a minimum period of 1 year will be an added advantage.
