Job Description
Accor is seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to manage the guest booking lifecycle and provide exceptional service. The role involves processing, modifying, and canceling reservations with high accuracy while ensuring all inquiries are handled with empathy and professionalism to optimize guest satisfaction and hotel revenue. The successful candidate will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless workflows and consistent guest experiences.
Responsibilities
Process, modify, and cancel reservations with accuracy and efficiency using the reservation management system.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide detailed information regarding accommodations, amenities, rates, and special hotel offers.
Coordinate with front desk, sales, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operational transitions.
Analyze booking patterns and guest preferences to support revenue management initiatives.
Resolve guest concerns and complaints with patience and a proactive, decisive approach.
Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Identify upselling opportunities for services and packages while maintaining transparency.
Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment without compromising service quality.
Contribute to a supportive team environment by sharing best practices and assisting colleagues as needed.
Assist other hotel sections when required.
Requirements
Diploma in Front Office Operations, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in a reservations, customer service, or hospitality-based role.
Strong listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Proficiency with computer systems and standard reservation management software.
Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Proactive problem-solving skills and a decisiveness in resolving issues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure.
Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs and learn new processes quickly.
