Relationship Officer Credit

TGL is a leading non-bank financial services company registered in Kenya, specializing in products such as Logbook Loans, Trade Finance, and Insurance. TGL focuses on providing innovative, structured, and customized financial solutions.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya, for a Relationship Officer specializing in credit. The primary purpose of this role is to manage relationships with clients, ensuring that TGL Credit’s financial solutions meet their specific needs. The role involves offering exceptional customer service, promoting loan products, facilitating loan processing, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Collaboration with internal teams to achieve targets is also a key aspect of the role, alongside assessing loan applications and maintaining robust client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of TGL Credit products and services.
• Manage and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and prepare professional credit proposals.
• Monitor and proactively manage the performance of the credit portfolio.
• Promote and cross-sell credit products to successfully achieve sales targets.
• Ensure all activities adhere strictly to internal policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Degree or Diploma in business or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a credit company, specifically dealing with logbook loans.
• Possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge in credit risk management and financial analysis.
