Key Responsibilities

• Caregiver Recruitment & Sourcing: Recruit caregivers (CNAs, HHAs, PCAs, and non-medical) through job boards, social media, referrals, community outreach, and hiring events.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent pipeline of active, qualified caregiver candidates.
• Interviewing: Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to assess qualifications, availability, experience, and cultural fit.
• Candidate Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for caregiver candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Screening & Compliance: Verify caregiver credentials, licenses, certifications, and work authorization.
• Background Checks: Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, TB tests, and reference checks in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Documentation: Ensure caregiver files are complete, accurate, and compliant with Home Care licensing standards.
• Onboarding: Manage caregiver onboarding, orientation, and required documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations and scheduling teams to align caregiver availability with client needs.
• System Management: Enter and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or HR system.
• Reporting: Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and caregiver turnover. Provide regular recruitment updates and staffing reports to leadership.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve caregiver recruitment and onboarding processes.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; however, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or Diploma is preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or customer-facing roles.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Environment: Ability to manage high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and experience with recruitment or HR systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience recruiting caregivers or healthcare/home care staff and knowledge of home care regulations and compliance standards.
