Job Description
Youth Changers Kenya (YCK) is a community-based organization founded in 2015 to promote sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and address systemic issues of sexual violence among adolescent girls and young women in Kenya.
Role Summary
The selected rapporteur will be responsible for documenting a three-day training by capturing key discussions, highlights, outcomes, and recommendations. The rapporteur will synthesize the proceedings into a comprehensive and well-structured report that accurately reflects the learning, voices, experiences, and contributions of participants.
Key Responsibilities
Attend all 3 days of the training and document the sessions comprehensively.
Capture key discussions, participant contributions, recommendations, notable quotes, and outcomes throughout the training.
Identify and document key insights, changes, commitments, and action points shared during the sessions.
Synthesize group discussions and reflections into a clear, comprehensive, and well-structured report.
Work closely with the project team to ensure all critical information is accurately captured.
Submit a comprehensive, well-edited final training report within the agreed timeline.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree qualification: BA/BSc/HND.
Must be currently based in Kakamega County.
Proven experience in rapporteur work, report writing, or documentation of workshops, trainings, or similar events.
Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize information accurately.
