Quality Specialist

KEDA Kenya Ceramics International Limited is a manufacturing company specializing in ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, located primarily in Miwani, Kisumu County, Kenya, with its headquarters in Guangzhou, China. The company is seeking a Quality & Safety Specialist to join its Engineering Department. This role is crucial for ensuring that all construction and engineering activities meet required quality standards and safety regulations across company projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site quality inspections and functional testing using standard measuring tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Perform safety audits and support corrective action plans.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports with supporting evidence and data.
• Provide timely feedback and support engineering teams with quality-related issues.
• Be flexible to travel and relocate within the country when required.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and good communication skills.
• The ability to be objective, organised, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the construction industry.
• Experience with housing construction or steel structure projects is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general computer operations.
