As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring technical accuracy, budget adherence, and strong client relationships. This role involves acting as a key interface between the customer and internal functions to maintain momentum and achieve project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Act as a strong interface between customer and internal functions to seamlessly maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in developing project plans, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Create and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and ensure team members have the necessary tools and information.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and project summaries.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Monitor project expenses and track budget adherence.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
Address project-related issues and conflicts, facilitating resolutions to maintain project momentum.
Generate regular project status reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
English level FCE (First Certificate in English).
Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Engineer or proof of sufficient skills.
Basic commercial knowledge for assessing business risks and opportunities to undertake commercial negotiations.
Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
